Job Feedback
Below is a sampling of the feedback I have received from clients, executives, managers and team members over my career.
“John’s commitment to excellence was evident as he took on the task to improve the vendor payment system. His passion to better serve our vendors and reduce workload of fellow merchants demonstrates his respect and concern for each other.”
“He is a strong process advocate and always offers and shares his knowledge. He has a natural affinity to link process and technology and an ability to share this in a training or knowledge transfer way. This is a strength that is very valuable to a variety of business areas.”
“John was also effective and active in his drive to have domestic vendors trained on the utilization of Matrix One for apparel. He personally trained the first class of vendors with training materials that he developed and then personally coached a transition of ownership of training to the client owners in QA. He stayed committed by supporting further training sessions for the domestic apparel vendors.”
“We had a VERY successful launch day for MyLearning. We tracked about 2,500 users logging into the system for the first time. John was critical part of the success of MyLearning and Program Olympus. MyLearning was the first milestone for the program and delivering it successfully was extremely important.”
“John has been an active voice and champion for process efficiency and alignment to strategy for the apparel division, especially in DDGS and Quality Assurance. His clients in each of these areas find significant value in his advocacy, process design and analysis expertise and his coaching on change management.”
“Thank you for everything you have done to manage the LM upgrade implementations. You had zero hesitation to take on this project of projects and kept them in line. We all appreciate your work and dedication!”
“John developed a design and sourcing department establishing process, roles and metrics and that enabled over $140M of retail product in the first year to $370M in its third year generating over $15M in incremental margin. “I wanted send a big THANK YOU for all your hard work and dedication to getting Ameriprise Live on Lead Manager. While I’m sure you didn’t anticipate such a long process for an ‘early adopter’, you were incredibly patient, understanding and supportive of our needs. I know we likely fit into a ‘high maintenance’ category.”
“John has been doing a great job of being a mentor to Drew as Drew folds into the PM role. Drew has shadowed John, as well as lead a work stream which John then mentored Drew on. John then mentored Drew as a support PM on a client, which concluded Drew’s on the job PM training. We could not have done this without John as a mentor and are look forward to him working with others as they expand their knowledge and skill sets.”
“Thank you for your contributions throughout the year. You’ve played a key role in our strong company results, and your continued progression and development will further our goal of being an enduringly great company. The results we’ve achieved are only possible by having people like you on our team.”
“John continued to work over his PTO Holiday break, meeting internally and with customers, in order to meet a customer request. He has also taken on the responsibility of learning and ramping up on our Lucernex product, as he takes on a year- long project with Focus Brands. He’s received well-deserved praise and kudos from the Lucernex leadership team on his efforts.”
“Thank you for all your hard work – being a PS PM is often a similar to wrangling cats…takes an incredibly amount of patience, knowledge and grit. I appreciate your willingness to jump in where needed and execute exceptionally every time. We’re getting better and stronger as a team, thanks to your efforts. Appreciate you!”
“John’s ability to ask questions in a manner that encourages thought and analysis. Unsolicited client team members have commended his questioning and have relied upon the questioning style for analysis of their own work processes. This ability of John’s is the key to his root-cause analysis.”
“Worked cross functionally bring us in compliance with the U.S. governments Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism program and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection 10+2, requiring additional data from U.S. importers and carriers that will enhance the Automated Targeting System for cargo screening. “John has credibility with many people in many departments, not only on process expertise but also at a personal level.”
“Great job, John! John used his time to help identify process gaps and ways for the team to work smarter. He came prepared with process improvement topics in the weekly PM sync that have made all the PMs lives easier, but he also led the way for getting fantastic SharePoint tools optimized and used more broadly. Not an easy feat.”
“John has a relatively unique strength in creative problem solving within seemingly impossible constraints. His team and his management has benefited by avoiding providing him with the solutions, and instead allowing a little time for John to build a solution to an given problem. In many cases, the solution that John provides was not obvious and certainly not the originally preferred solution. The fact that his management often follows these new solutions is a testament to the value that John brings”
“Impressive .. and important accomplishment! This helps us optimize our invest and attention onto strategic efforts and avoid being nibbled to meritocracy over time. Thank you! Saved having to spend $1.2 million on enhancements on CRM.”
